Lies - A Poem

Here's my poem for today ( a limerick) . Also, if you are interested in writing a novel, I just got a book out the library and it's been very helpful. It's called How To Write Your First Novel by Sophie King.


Lying, you soothe
Dark words so smooth
Pain lurks
It might just work
But I'm lying too
And here's an extra 'cause I love you all. It's just some very short flash fiction. 
There have been a lot of tears lately as we've had some heartbreak, but, however it's been hidden behind false smiles, so it won't affect you.

March Prompt - Favourite Scent. I've got to say, I don't really notice the smells around me - except the food ones -. Still, our noses are amazing things. Everything has its own individual scent. I don't have a favourite, but I'm going to share with you some of the ones I like. See if you can conjure up the scents I love without it being around you. I won't include food, or my list will go on forever. Our noses can remember 50,000 scents. Do you remember the same one I do? I'm going to start with snow. You don't always notice, but snow has a rather delicious smell. Like wind and flowers and cold. February prompt - RED                                                RED The first thing that comes to mind at the word red is blood. I guess that has to do with one of my favourite books RED QUEEN. Today I'm going to post a review of some books I have read with the word RED in the title. But first... More about the word red and what it means to me. Winter I have always associated Winter with Christmas, but that is just the beginning of this season. Winter is the best because you have the perfect excuse to stay inside and watch Netflix - "It's cold..." "It's raining..." "I've got the sniffles..."
