Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Midnight Readers: Cover Reveal:~ Daughter of Smoke & Bone ...

Wishes are false.Hope is true. Hope makes it's own magic.

Hey! Again, sorry it took me so long to write. I've been busy. I finished a book on Thursday, and all I can say is that it was AMAZING!!!!!!! DEFINITELY on my favourites list. I loved it!!!!
Daughter of Smoke and Bone is about a girl called Karou, who tries to keep her two lives in balance. One as an art student in Prague, and the other as a errand-girl to monstrous creature who collects teeth and grants wishes, who is the nearest thing she has to family. But Brimstone is keeping many secrets from her, and all of them are fatal as she tries to rescue her family and discover her past, helped by a fallen angel, a beautiful seraphim, and her best friend, small but feisty Zuzana.
It is the first in a trilogy, and once I've written this I'm going to order the second book, Days of Blood and Starlight, from the Library catalogue!

My favourite character was Karou, but I also loved Zuzana. I'd like to be more like her. (I'm really small too!)

In the book, there are lots of wishes of different strengths.
The weakest ones don't do much, and Karou is allowed to use them whenever she wants. I would probably use them to play little pranks. Oh! And I could use them to paint my nails, one Scuppy (the name of the weakest wish!) per nail! So much easier then polish!
I would probably use Shings, the second weakest wish, to dye my hair, like Karou, or something like that. I'm not sure.
The Lucknow (third strongest) To learn a language, like Karou. (Or maybe grow wings and a tail...)
The Gavriel (Second strongest) I would use to be able to fly, and the strongest, the Bruxis, I have no idea what I would do with. Those wishes are so strong, so I would lock it up some-where safe until I really needed it!!!!
What would you do with the wishes? Comment below.
PLEASE read this book. It is amazing. It is great if you like fantasy, romance, and a whole lot of curiosity. (I was literally itching with it, Karou must have used a Scuppy on me, too)
