30 Days of Poetry

Hello, Fangirls, Fanboys, and all you book nerds out there, my friends, and whoever happened to come across this blog.

I bought an Ebook; 30 Days of Poetry from Creative Writing Now. You can buy it too here.
The Ebook has an idea a day for 30 days, to inspire the poet within you. An example;

Day 1
Write a poem about one or all of the four seasons. (Some ideas for brainstorming: What does the season look, feel, smell like? What memories do you associate with that season?).
I haven't used the ideas yet so here's the plan. Starting today, 09/01/18, I will write a poem every day, and post it on my beautiful blog for all you book nerds to read.
Now I've explained, here's today's poem. I hope you like it. Comment what I should name it!

Winter is hot chocolate and pattering rain,
The hope of snow. It's Christmas again!
Winter is me curled up in bed.
Watching the movie for a book I read.

Spring is dull walks and the first shreds of sun,
Having my birthday and games that I won.
Spring feels like waiting to sprout
Some part of me that wants to come out.

Summer is hoping for a trip to the beach
Swimming in the river and seeing a leech.
Summer is fresh, a new beginning.
My pile of worries slowly thinning.

Autumn is a memory of the year that's past
Wondering if this happiness will last
Autumn is sleepovers, laughing with friends,
Crying at night because I reached the end.

Happy Reading, My Loves
