Here is the post you've been due a while! before I do a review of the books I've read recently, here are the poems I forgot to post!

She flits
like a moth
So fragile
So graceful
A piece of cloth
On the wind.
But if you look at her
from another angle
She is brave and loyal
Not so superficial anymore
But she is broken
In a tangle
And no - one can fix her
Anymore.

Clean
Like a dance
In the rain
Gentle music
Our bond is broken.
But I still feel you here.
The rain is falling thick and fast
I am drowning
But I breath
Breath you away.
Wash you away.
Gone are the traces of you.
I don't feel anything anymore.
Anger comes
And tears
I am drowning
But no - one saves me
But I breath.
And you are gone
I am clean.

Tunnel
I am walking forward
But there is nothing ahead
I can't think
My head is empty
of all emotion
My heart is empty
Of all thought.
I continue to walk
Toward oblivion
I don't care anymore.

BOOKS!!!!
Image result for falling kingdoms coversA princess witnesses the death that sparks a revolution and does nothing.
A rebel mourns for his brother and swears revenge on the smirking princess.
A prince cannot stop his father's plans.
A sorceress comes into her own.

Paelsia is poor, Limeros is cruel and Auranos is ignorant. Pick a side. Kingdoms will fall.

Favourite character; Emilia
What I didn't like about this book is that the characters all had the potential to be amazing but the author really didn't make me love them. She didn't delve deep enough, of make them seem enough like real people, and this really slowed the story down for me. however, the plot is great, and I probably will read Rebel Spring, the second. I hope the characters will develop more throughout the later books.

Image result for Kindred spirits cover RRThis was a great light read by an amazing author. It's a World Book Day book, so quite short, however, I grew to really know and like Elena as she sat in a line of three to watch The Force Awakens.
I didn't get all the Star Wars references, but most of them. Like Elena, though, I haven't watched the prequels (well actually I watched the second, and the first at bout nine but I don't remember it.)Image result for Kindred spirits quotes Rainbow Rowell

Image result for a court of thorns and rosesSarah J. Maas is one of my favourite authors, and this book has not let me down. When Feyre (awesome name, right) kills a wolf in the woods, she has no idea of what it means. Then a beast comes to her house. A life for a life, the wolf was fey and Feyre must die or return to the faery realm with the beast. This alternate of of beauty and the beast took my breath away. Amazing. Feyre has to be my favourite character, but I can't help loving Tamlin, Rhysand and the rest too. I can't wait to read the second; A Court if Mist and Fury.
Another thing I love about this book is the plot twists. Like; of course! or What. The Hell. or sometimes just nooooooooo. Great book, no words to describe. *tearing up*. I...just..loved..it. *sniffs*

More amazing books by more amazing authors.
Image result for strange the dreamerLazlo Strange has a dream - the dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around - that he never thought would come true. Ever since the name of the city was plucked out of his mouth at the age of five - leaving Weep in it's place, Lazlo has wanted to travel to this Unseen City - it was impossible, of course, but when did that ever stop a dreamer from dreaming? -.

My favourite character was Sarai, of course. Who couldn't love that moth screaming blue goddess. This book is written so beautifully, so poetically, in true Laini Taylor style. It was hard to put down, and I stayed up most of the night finishing - a common routine for me!

  1. Wasn't Kindred Spirits adorable? :) I love Rainbow Rowell, so getting to read a short book by her felt like a cozy cup of tea.
